Girl Scout Day Camp You don't have to be a Girl Scout to experience Girl Scout Camp! If your daughter is not currently involved in Girl Scouting, camp is a great way to introduce her to the Girl Scout experience. Day Camp is an opportunity for girls to experience camp with other girls from Girl Scouts of Penn Lakes Council. In partnership with Day Camp volunteers, girls plan their week's activities, which could include crafts, songs, games, hikes, badge work and cookouts. Some camps provide an overnight experience for older girls and swimming. Girls are placed in units with other girls from the same level in Girl Scouting, providing the opportunity to make new friends. No matter what camp the girls choose, they will come away with memories to last a lifetime! Program levels are based on the grade girls will enter in the fall.
