YMCA Aquatic Safety Assistant (YASA)

Ages:14 and up       
        
Fees Members, $130; Nonmembers $150

This program is designed to prepare participants with skills and knowledge needed to recognize aquatic risks and assist a lifeguard in the emergency response of an accident or injury.

Requirements: Must meet prerequisites, age requirements, swim test, tread water, surface dives
Fees are reduced for low income families 
Scholarships are available for some participants
